**Attorney at the Paris and New York Bars. My working notes on digital regulation, out in the open.**

This is not a brochure. It is the public half of my Obsidian vault: the notes I actually use, day to day, to work on the [[GDPR|GDPR]], the [[SiteMap/1-Official Texts/EU AI Act|EU AI Act]] including its [[EU AI Act - Consolidated version Omnibus 2026|consolidated version]] further to the [[EU AI Act Omnibus 2026|Omnibus 2026]], [[NIS2]], [[DORA]], the [[Digital Services Act]], the [[Digital Markets Act]], the [[_Work/Tech Data/zz Navigation/EU Data Act|EU Data Act]] and intellectual property.

Everything here is plain Markdown, structured and cross-linked. Read it in your browser, pull it into your own vault, or hand it to your AI assistant.

## What you will find

<div class="hp-cards">

<div class="hp-card">
<h3>📜 Official Texts</h3>

<div class="hp-card">
<h3>⚖️ Case Law</h3>

<h3>📕 Glossary</h3>
<p>A working glossary of cross-cutting concepts, linked back to the texts and decisions that give them meaning.</p>
<p><a href="/SiteMap/Definitions/">Explore the Definitions &rarr;</a></p>

<div class="hp-card">
<h3>✍️ Articles & Publications</h3>

## How to use it

**Read it.** The notes are wired together: internal links, backlinks, a graph. You come in through an article and leave three definitions later, which is usually the right path.

**Take it with you.** Every page is a `.md` file. Copy what you need into your own Obsidian vault and the links and anchors will come along.

**Let a machine read it.** The content is built to be ingested as is by an LLM: no decorative markup, a clean heading hierarchy, explicit frontmatter [[metadata]], stable block identifiers. If you are working through a compliance question with an AI assistant, point it here rather than letting it guess.

## Who I am

I practise in Paris as a partner heading the Tech, Data & IP department at [Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats](http://www.latournerie-wolfrom.com). I am admitted to the Paris and New York Bars and hold the [IAPP](https://iapp.org/)'s CIPP/E certification.

My interest in this field started with music, and continued through twenty years of watching the law chase technology without quite catching it. I work at the intersection of French civil law training and US common law practice, for American companies landing in Europe and European companies heading out.

In practice: data governance and compliance, technology contract negotiation, IP strategy, outsourced DPO work, and the litigation that shows up when none of the above was handled early enough.

## Two caveats

This site is personal. The analyses are mine alone, do not necessarily reflect my firm's position, and are not legal advice. Reading them creates no attorney-client relationship. For an actual situation, write to me.
